On Saturday, March 1, former Lynnwood High School standout Nyree Johnson’s current college team, the Western Washington Vikings, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Simon Fraser Clan.

The game took place at Viking Field. This was their third matchup against the Clan this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 12 p.m. at SMU Softball Field against Saint Martin’s Saints.
