Snohomish County's Human Services Department (HSD) is accepting comments on a draft of the Housing and Community Development plans for 2020 to 2024, according to a press release from the county.
The HSD will accept comments through July on the priorities, goals and strategies used in investing federal funds for affordable housing and other community development projects in the county, the release states.
The plan covers from July 1, 2020, until June 30, 2025, and includes several documents, including a summary of the consultation and citizen participation process, a needs assessment, an executive summary and a market analysis. It includes goals for the investments of three funds.
The Technical Advisory Committee and Policy Advisory Board made project funding recommendations on what to use the funds for and the projects that were selected for funding were sponsored by non-profits, public agencies and other cities and towns, according to the press release.
Comments can either be mailed in or emailed in by 4 p.m. on July 8.
