City of Lake Stevens issued the following announcement.
The council's preferred start time is 6:00 PM, but is also considering 6:30 PM. The City has seen the added benefit providing alternative solutions for our citizens to participate and stay engaged with city business. We are committed to providing an online option for citizen involvement such as Zoom , live streaming to YouTube, and to our public access Channel 21 once meetings return to normal. These expanded participation options offer a way for us to move these meeting to an earlier time frame. This is in consideration of all our time, we have seen these meetings go beyond the allocated time frame and feel an earlier start time will help with a work/family balance.
