Northshore School District issued the following announcement.
The construction of the Northshore Concert Hall at Inglemoor High School continues. In December, the major foundation slabs and walls of the building’s basement were completed, which allowed for utility connections to the existing building, as well as major excavations for larger underground site infrastructure. Connections to City sewer took place last week, with the final part of construction that is in the public’s right of way slated for completion by mid-week this week.
Coming up in the next few weeks and into late January, stormwater detention tanks and other major excavation for onsite stormwater construction will move forward. Weather permitting, steel erection will begin just after the first of the year with two to three weeks of installation to follow. A dedication for the final steel beam is expected. As the date nears, more details will be shared with the community on how to view the final steel beam dedication.
This project was made possible by the generous support of Northshore voters, who approved the 2018 bond.
