City of Snohomish issued the following announcement.
The public hearing for the proposed Walsh Hills subdivision is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021. It will be a remote-only hearing offered through the Zoom application. You can participate either online or by calling in.
At the hearing, run by the City's Hearing Examiner, first staff will make a presentation about the project and then the public will be invited to speak. That will be followed by the applicant's presentation and any final comments by staff. The Hearing Examiner will issue his decision about 10 working days after the hearing.
The Hearing Examiner packet will be available to the public about one week before the hearing date on the project web page at https://www.snohomishwa.gov/709/Walsh-Hills-Project. The packet will include a description of the project, staff’s analysis of how the project meets City codes, proposed conditions of approval, and exhibits which will include all of the comments received by the City as of Dec. 18, 2020.

Description of Proposal: 111-lot subdivision of a 19.29-acre site, comprised of a 17-lot PRD where the site is zoned Single Family and a 94-unit Unit Lot Subdivision where it is zoned Medium Density Residential (MDR). The project includes internal roadways, frontage improvements to Terrace Avenue, open space, critical areas enhancement and protection, utility improvements, street trees, and a new park for residents.
