Anti-Semitic Graffiti

Newsrelease

On Monday, May 16th, the Mill Creek Police Department received a call about anti-Semitic graffiti discovered on an election banner belonging to Representative April Berg of the 44th Legislative District. After being alerted, a Mill Creek Police officer contacted Berg, who filed a police report. As a result, the banner, located initially at the 14100 block of 35th Ave SE, has been replaced.

Interim City Manager Martin Yamamoto said, "The City of Mill Creek does not condone behavior that defames individuals or their property. The welfare of our residents and communities is our highest priority."

"This is an active investigation that we take very seriously," said Acting Police Chief Stan White; anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to call Mill Creek Police Department Detective Sergeant Bart Foutch at 425-921-5755.
