Laila Carpenter, former Glacier Peak High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Softball Championship

Former Glacier Peak High School player and current Western Washington Vikings outfielder, Laila Carpenter, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number one seed against the eighth seeded Azusa Pacific Cougars.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
