The Western Washington Vikings, with former Glacier Peak High School standout Laila Carpenter, were defeated 6-4 by the Western Oregon Wolves at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 13, in an NCAA Division II softball matchup.
The contest, held at Viking Field, marked their first game against the Wolves this season.
Carpenter contributed two hits in two at-bats, tallying one run and one walk.
The Vikings are set for their next matchup against the Western Oregon Wolves at Viking Field on Friday, March 13, with the first pitch at 2:30 p.m.
