Q2: Home prices in Lake Forest Park increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Lake Forest Park rose by $357,500 while total sales decreased by 18.8 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 39 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,270,000 - a 39.2 percent increase over the $912,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 48 homes sold in Lake Forest Park in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Lake Forest Park for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,447, approximately 0.4 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
